Not to get sidetracked, but given your high esteem of journalists, what do you think of Palin having a journalism degree? Positive, negative, neutral, anything?
Basically I think it irrelevant, at most - just as race is irrelevant except to note that it takes more character for a black to be a Republican, because all the peer pressure against it. I would think that anyone who went into journalism with idealistic stars in their eyes and taking all the claptrap seriously would either become cynical Democrats or really idealistic Republicans.Which might be a little scary, only because George W. Bush is idealistic to a fault. A really serious fault.
