Voters. Very impressionable, politically uneducated and ideologically unsophisticated voters - who's votes count the exact same as either yours or mine.
People wonder, including me, how Gallup can put "conservatives" at 40% of the electorate, yet at the same time say that 39% of those "conservatives" support Barack Obama. I'll bet a significant number of those "conservatives" that support Obama, also watch with regularity ABC World News, NBC Nightly News and Couric's News program, in addition to the morning broadcast chat shows.
Between last week's NBC/Brian Williams love fest of Obama, and next week's ABC Obama worship hour, and the inevitable prime-time CBS special about Barry, it's a wonder that Obama's approval rating isn't at 80%.
Actually according to Rush, ABC is appealing to Nielsen to audit the numbers. Their nightly news dropped from 7million to 4million viewers (even less than Katie’s 5million viewers) when the tv signals went from analog to digital.
The public is tuning them out. Get ready for another government payoff.
