Palestinian Authority officials in Ramallah on Sunday expressed outrage and shock over Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's call for the establishment of a demilitarized Palestinian state and his demand that the Palestinians recognize Israel as a Jewish state.
The officials said that the speech which Netanyahu delivered at Bar Ilan University was much worse than they had expected.
They also warned that Netanyahu's policies would trigger a new intifada.
Some of Abbas's top advisors accused Netanyahu of "burying the peace process" and said the ball was now in the court of US President Barack Obama.

That's not how the Western media is portraying it. They are ignoring Bibi's tough stances and simply saying he has "finally accepted a Palestinian state." Even FoxNews is embracing that view...
To: tobyhill
LOL. Bibi called Obama's and PA's bluff.
Great speech that proved a logical point.

So... What did you expect?
I guess Obama will just have to fire Netanyahu for his Rag-Head friends...

I haven’t read a text of Bibi’s speech yet, but if the Palestinians are pissed, then obviously it was a smash success. :-)

They also warned that Netanyahu's policies would trigger a new intifada. Oh please let that be true.

We knew the Faux Media would make that case which in some sense is correct but Bibi knew the PA would reject the conditions to get there.

Some of Abbas's top advisors accused Netanyahu of "burying the peace process" and said the ball was now in the court of US President Barack Obama. Don't expect anything from King Obama. He is a devout Muslim.

Ha! How'd you know when a Pallies lying, their lips move.
There is nothing that Bibi could have said to placate them because their stated aim has never waivered or changed ... from the river to the sea.
There is nothing that they will accept short of the destruction of the state of Israel.

Great to see the sniveling Obambi get his nose rubbed in it.

"...King Obama. He is a devout Muslim."
Yep, I always thought so--RIGHT from the very beginning.
"They" have no problem waiting for the right moment to strike--no matter how long it takes, their victory is the only goal.
The U.S. used to have the courage of our convictions, too....ONLY WE USED OUR POWERS FOR GOOD!

But this has been Israeli policy for a long time now. So why are they saying that he finally accepted a Palestinian state like it’s a new thing?

Hey, sofaman!
Looks like another time where the people of the U.S. will have to support our allies...

There is nothing that they will accept short of the destruction of the state of Israel. Exactly! And don't put it past the Obama administration to help in doing it.

When Arafat turned down a fabulously generous deal reached during the latter Clinton administration it was over. It was over for any realistic dream of a Phillistine state. It was over for an early peace Nobel for WJC. I'm convinced the Norwegian Parliament will figure out some way to give Clinton the Peace Prize before there is any realistic peace in the ME.

I suggest we refer to his complete name Barack Hussein Obama, He has proven to be a study of the Koran.
Convert or Kill and he’s doing a good job of it so far.

Amin Al Husseini Head of SS Muslim Hanzar Division
The Arab League was created in 1944 and sought to promote Pan-Arabism. Amin Al Husseini was one of the co-founders and was central in forging its ideology.
A majority of Americans may be idiots for believing the big lie that HUSSEIN BARAKA is a Christian, but the Israelis know better.
