it's about time the right decided to band together and unite on something......if this is it, then it is NOT a silly distraction........and unite we must if we are to change the course of this country. acceptable jokes about women and girls, acceptable smears of politicians.....we need to reset the rules the left has loosened back to what will make America shine again. and NO, this is not silly, it is sadly necessary. we need the experience and the practice for the next election cycle. long overdue for us to flex our muscles.

sadly, we are stuck with theONe and his inane playing at foreign policy till the next election.....perhaps if we pull together by the midterms we can FORCE him into some semblance of a reasonable foreign policy.

I find it puzzling that anyone can think that Governor Palin has deliberately stoked this ‘spat’ with Lettermann in order to garner publicity for herself.

I suspect that after watching the world trash her and Bristol in the baby Trig controversy that she has learned from her mistakes. Fight back with words of dignity and truth. I like that. She has not stooped to pics of lettermans wife....which I indeed morbidly looked up and posted.....she has simply stated the truth - that it is repuslive and sick to make jokes about a 14 year old girl getting knocked up. She is correct to point that out. It is just as much in poor taste that it was supposedly intended for her 18 year old daughter. But, don't worry, I am sure all the perverts lusting over young girls and women love his jokes - the viewers letterman lost with those jokes were likely replaced.

Definitely. I'm sick of hearing about it. If you want good taste, don't watch late night comedians or listen to morning radio "shock jocks".
