While I think that Letterman is surely a jerk,no make that an asswipe..This is America even though we have a President trying to change that.We do not need Republicans trying to help him accomplish that destruction..Letterman has the right to be as stupid and ignorant as he wants to be. If a majority of AMERICANS realize that he would be off the air for the right reasons..If not then we have bigger problems then Letterman....

Common decency is never wrong...Americans have a right to voice their opinion on anything...our freedom of speech is also at risk if we (average) Americans don't speak out against jokes about raping a 14 year old girl, we might as well just roll over and die..TV stations are using "the peoples airways" thats what the government says when they sell the airwaves. There is no censorship in satellite because the gov't is not involved...Let the old leach go to satellite like Imus and Stern did..
If someone thinks it is inappropriate for the public to be outraged, they are already morally dead.....since the only ones standing up for Letterman are the liberals..
