we have given racial and religious minorities decades and decades of opportunities to grasp the simple ideals of protecting babies, national defense, capitalism, traditional values, fiscal responsibility and personal responsibility and consequence and yet for generations now certain racial and religious groups overwhelmingly have rejected such ideals and still we have Pollyannas here claiming none of that matters?

Exactly! I recall during the 2008 campaign when some conservatives were encouraging McCain to use the Reverend Wright issue against Obama. Not only did he refuse, as would be expected from a RINO like him, but it was suggested that it would be "racist" and "racially divisive" for him to use that issue.
Now if that doesn't show what a convoluted world we live in. Obama's ass sat in the pews of a racist hate church for 20 years. The preacher there ranted and raved against America, against white devils, and "Jew Zionists". But it would racist for a white candidate to make any mention of it (!). That's the situation we're dealing with, and it pops up on every thread like this, even here on a conservative forum. In response to overt racism and racial politics by the left, we're just to smile sweetly and try harder to win the non-white vote.
