There’s also a problem that Rush has that we “chattering classes” don’t. Zero’s brownshirts can’t do much about hundreds of thousands of us talking and may not even try. Rush on the other hand has a microphone and a large audience which paints a target on him.
Given what we’ve seen from Obama so far, it may be too dangerous for Rush to go far out on the limb at this point. I think that’s changing.
If you're suggesting arrest and/or imprisonment, that would blow the lid off the powderkeg that simmering right now. It would delight the SRM to no end, but independents would be aghast at such a blatant disregard for the First Amendment.

Honestly, I don't see The First Thug lasting 4 years in office; he's never faced any serious adversity in his life. The pressure of the job will ultimately get to him and he'll quit in a fit of hysteria, running & crying to his mommy/Michelle.

I’ve thought about that. It’s also true that Rush stands out enough that I think the 0bama thugs would come after him under any circumstances if they thought they dared. So, the question becomes what does Rush stand to lose going after 0bama that he wouldn’t lose anyway.
