The certificate is immaterial. You inherit your citizenship from your father. If your father is a citizen of this country, YOU will be a citizen of this country. If you father is NOT a citizen of this country, YOU will not be a citizen of this country. It's really not all that hard, my fellow FReepers.

Sorry, MamaTexan but you've missed the point.

The Constitution states you must be born in this country to be eligible for the presidency. Simply being a citizen is not enough.

How can you not know this?

Show me. Don't just tell me I'm wrong. Point out the Constitutional clause that specifies the president must be born in the United States.
