Rush is thinking longterm here...the goal would not only be to defeat Obama and get his butt removed fromt he White House...but to lay the groundwork for removing Pelosi, Reid, Murtha and the rest of the crooks basking under Obama’s protection right now. Heck, perhaps this could lay foundation for years of conservative victory.

But even more importantly, how do we effectively get this message out to 52+ million American "Jim Jones kool-aid" like drinkers???

The OSM (MSM) certainly will NOT help open the flood gates!!!

thanks for your patience. I do it every time the posts come up because the whole case is not presented everywhere and newbies to the story are always coming in. Plus there are new data points that I ad. there’s an interesting story coming out that the kenyans are feeling snubbed by obama. wonder why? I might ad that to the pot. if they feel sufficiently snubbed — they might feel a bit more motivated to give out info on their now closed hospital files on obama.

It is key info that needs to be reposted continually so that it isn’t lost deep in past threads. And, as you said, new people can see it. Not everyone reading theses threads posts and asks questions.

Thank you for posting Rep. Bingham’s words.

You're welcome. The search turned up some interesting sites.

What is a “Natural Born Citizen?”

A lawsuit does not mean anything to the progressives after June 9ht. The SCOTUS threw out the Constitution and now, nothing really matters to those types of people. The lines are drawn.

Secretary of State Bayard ruled under Section 1992 of U.S. Revised Statutes in 1885 that although Richard Greisser was born in the United States, his father at the time of his birth was a subject of Germany, and thus, Richard Greisser could not be a citizen of the United States. Furthermore, it was held his father was not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States under the Fourteenth Amendment.
A Digest of the International Law of the United States ;

Here's a detailed paper on the subject Defining Natural-Born Citizen

-----

And No, neither amending the Constitution nor any of the legal Codes gives Congress the authority to determine who will be a natural-born citizen. The federal government can only make naturalized citizens.

To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;
Article 1, Section 8, Clause 4

Naturalized citizens' children are natural born citizens.

Both natural born and naturalized citizens are 'citizens of the United States', but both kinds of citizen are NOT eligible for the Presidency.

That was overruled by Wong Kim Ark. It also would have been interesting to see what Ohio law enforcement's view of their authority over Herr Greisser might have been. I'm assuming Greisser did not have diplomatic immunity.

They seem to be asserting a right to lie and falsify and deceive. What a surprise!

The Federalist Blog is very interesting, thank you for the link. Still the "natural born citizen" is one born in the United States without an allegiance to a foreign sovereignty -- an important distinction.

It's simple. Wong Kim Ark was born in San Francisco of Chinese immigrants who were not naturalized and indeed ineligible to become naturalized (under the Chinese Exclusion Act). When Wong returned to the US from a visit to China, the government attempted to exclude him on the ground that, although he was born in the US, his parents were subjects of the Chinese emperor and not subject to US jurisdiction. But the Court held that the only persons not "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" were diplomats, members of hostile occupation forces, and certain Indian tribes. Since Wong's parents did not fall into any of those classifications, under the 14th Amendment, he was a citizen by reason of his place of birth.

Obviously, that overturns what Secretary Bayard was attempting to maintain with regard to Greisser.

The MSM is VERY sensitive about the birth certificate issue, and Rush knows this. I think Rush was waiting to use this card to get them to come unhinged at the right moment.

There’s a major chess match going on right now between the REAL media (OURS) and the bogus OSM (Obama State Media).

I’ve given that some thought and after watching Rachel Madcow...(first time I’ve seen her more than 3 mins. actually) it’s readily apparent the unhnged left are as desperate now as they were when W was president.

She had some fellow looney-toon on from Salon basically asserting the holocaust denier shooter was right wing and a “birther”.

First I’ve heard of this “birther” thing, but apparently anyone that remotely believes the zerrhoid doesn’t have a legit BC, is a murdering right winger, trying to overthrow the govt.

ALL OF A SUDDEN, something must be done!

“We have free speech and all that”, but now suddenly, “we also have RESPONSIBILITES”...no word on when this newfound responsibility came from though, since Madcow didn’t bother mentioning anything about responsibility when W was accused of stealing elections, was a war criminal and should be kicked out.

Nooooo....see there was no such thing as responsibility THEN.

She also made not a single mention of Reverend Wright, who seems to have alot more in common with the shooter, who hates Bush by his own account, btw.

Madcow and this Salon moron basically accused Rush of trying to overthrow the govt, and should be held responsible and “birthers” are a menace to the country.

Liberals are foaming at the mouth deranged, terrified of this and of losing power.

No. The 14th Amendment automatically naturalizes someone born in the United States without an allegiance to a foreign sovereignty.

It doesn't make them natural born.

Although I appreciate your effort, I wasn't looking for you to explain it to me, I asked for you to show me.

Please provide the text of the decision that illustrates how it overturns Secretary Bayard.

Not according to this commentary:

Framer of the Fourteenth Amendments first section, John Bingham, said Sec. 1992 of U.S. Revised Statutes meant “every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen.”

Source, please.

-----

If government had the ability to create natural born citizens, they would have done so. They do not have that authority because a natural born citizen is given his/her citizenship by Nature, not by man.

Every quote is 'citizen of the United States' NOT 'natural born' citizen.

Nor does the 14th grant citizenship to those people who already are natural born citizens of other countries.

"Every Person born within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, is by virtue of natural law and national law a citizen of the United States. This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons."
Senator Jacob Howard, co-author of the citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment, 1866.

The sole purpose of the 14th was to give citizenship to freed slaves. That's why 'of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty' is there.
