They’ve said he’s a WWII veteran, I don’t think they’ve said which side von Brunn was on, though...

I heard he was on a PT boat. I'm not sure what that means really, but I assumed he was ours.

The Germans, had similar boats. The Germans called theirs, S-boats, "S" for Speed, or in German Schnellboot
