CBS is the highest rated prime time network...
Their news division is in the outhouse, but their core programming is doing well.
And Letterman could never beat Leno. Usually has about 1/2 the audience Leno had. Letterman is a leftwing loser.

What is upsetting is that CBS has a much older demographic than the other networks. It would be safe to assume that a significant percentage of the prime time audience is conservative, or at least Republican.
But, these people will continue to watch CSINCISCRIMINALMINDS etc, etc. If people actually voted with their feet (or in this case their remotes) over this, maybe CBS would get the message.
