Especially a mixed race baby born to a woman named Stanley. Even if she went by the name Ann, the hospital medical records department would have noticed that and remarked on it.
I know about that first-hand as I do hospital transcription, and I'll remark to my family and co-workers when I come across any amusing or odd little snippets like that.
"Hey honey, someone named Stanley had a half-white baby today! How crazy is that?

Yeah, that would have definitely stood out in 1961.
