Hanson makes the assumption that Obama wants the “farm” to succeed. I’m not so sure.

Well, I believe there are some very hard headed individuals around him in the foreign affairs arena, primarily former General Jim Jones.

Let’s hope that the President can thread the needle.

Otherwise, if Bush was the frying pan, Obama’s gonna be the fire!

Obama may be making the classic mistake of negotiating.

Assuming that the opposing party is dealing in good faith.

That initial offers and concessions, if they are fair and generous will be recognized as such by the other party and reciprocated in kind.

Have a friend going through a divorce who made these classic negotiating mistakes, lol!
