Sent that clip to my dad....who voted for BHO and who thinks he's the best thing to happen to our country in a long time...hates Bush for going to war in Iraq...believes Obama is going to repair all the damage done both economically in America and our standing in the world...here's his response to me:

ACTUALLY ENLIGHTENED PEOPLE (LIKE YOUR FATHER) KNOW THAT AMERICANS HAVE A LOT TO APOLOGIZE FOR. START WITH THE HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN WHO DEATHS WE HAVE CAUSED EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. UNTIL WE ARE WILLING TO ADMIT OUR RESPONSIBILITY, WE CAN NEVER HOPE TO FIND LASTING PEACE. OBAMA KNOWS THIS AND THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD KNOW THIS.
