Tinfoil hats are obsolete.
Lead is more appropriate for these dangerous times.

Lead has more important applications than in hats. Gold is good, it's a better shield and is much more easily made into hats than either lead or tin. (Actually aluminum is better than either of those as well, but not as good a gold.)
