Sorry I am still getting a hand of this
This is fishy. No mayday, just disappears. I know lightning strikes hit planes all the time. I think they are even tracked by the FAA.
Does anyone know if there are documented cases of large planes actually being brought down by lightning strikes?
On one of the pilot message boards they explained how the planes have the capability to dissipate lightening strikes and didn’t think turbulance could take down the plane either.
With the wreckage over miles you have to wonder about if it blew up as there was no May Day.
So planes must be going down all the time in the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone then, right?
If TV hadn't caught the second plane hit the World Trade Center on 9-11-01 we would all still be believing that a white middle aged pilot had lost control or had a nervous breakdown or was depressed or it was really the center fuel tanks (over Long Island), bla, bla, bla... We will never know the truth as to what happened to this plane. If they find the black box, it will be inconclusive. If they don't, it will be "sparks" (thanks to John Bellucci). If it was a terrorist act, we'll never know...

I wonder why the article was scrubbed from the momento24 site?
I am flying out Thursday cross country...prayers for a safe go and back(vacation with the family)..
God bless all those on that doomed flight and thier loved ones left behind to grief...
It sure could and our stupid DoD was so quick to say it was terrorism — they had not even found the wreckage when they made that statement.
bump for later
Investigators have few clues to help explain what brought the Airbus A330 down. The crew made no distress call before the crash, but the plane's system sent an automatic message just before it disappeared, reporting lost cabin pressure and electrical failure.
I don’t think so because many pilots pass that point. Maybe it was just bad luck of Air France. Maybe the FAA would have records of any downed planes in that area.Again, we need the flight data recorder.
Clinton had every reason in the world to cover-up TWA 800 in ‘96. Obama doesn’t have any reason to do it now, especially with a flight that didn’t even originate in the United States.
All he needs to do is say nothing before his big speech. Like he did with the muslim who gunned down two of his soldiers in Little Rock yesterday. The topic of islamic terrorism is off the table this week.
hmm
Hang on, though.
“President Nicolas Sarkozy has formally opened a French military base in the United Arab Emirates, France’s first permanent base in the Gulf.”

Exactly.
Does make you wonder when you see how far the debris field was. They were so quick to rule out terrorism that it made me think terrorism. Doubt if we ever get the facts.
Have first hand experience with cover-up having been at the OU football when the ‘lone suicide bomber’ supposedly blew himself up. He had enough explosives in his apartment and car to blow up five city blocks and it took around 18 trips to the bomb disposal area and when they blew it up all my windows in the house rattled and I am five miles away. BUT there was no evidence of terrorist connection even though his roommate was Pakistani and he spend months in Pakistan and looked like a Muslim terrorist with his beard according to authorities who found his suicide note on his computer three weeks after it happened. All our over active imagination. Yeah right!
