I really don't know what Pentecostals believe but, IMHO, they are hardly Mormons. I did not intend to disparage any belief here because I am not altogether certain that my own denomination has any right key to what Christ intended for his church. In many ways, though I am an Episcopalian, I feel more in line with Roman Catholics than many protestant churches...still I cannot buy the philosophy about papal infallibility nor can I see St. Virgin Mary as a co-equal to Jesus (in being born sinless) as there is no evidence of either being scriptually sound.

Priest’s abusive behavior was, in fact, the result of their defying church teachings. Now there are safeguards in the Church - so exemplary - it’s been copied by others. I would like to know what safe-guards other organizations such as Protestant Church’s, Synagogues, Schools, etc., have done to protect the innocent?

Bottomline - it’s a societal problem and the MSM did none of us any favors by bashing just one organization. But they had a salivatingly good time doing it - as do others in an attempt to shut others out of a conversation such as this one. Next we’ll see the Crusades, Inquisition, or Indulgences pop up somewhere.
