There are a lot of people out there who think they know all there is about the Catholic faith what is even more interesting is that there many Catholics who left the faith and never even knew it. First we do not worship Mary and this constant droll of this so called fact gets to the point of being childish. Or maybe it’s one of those things if enough people say it is true,enough people will believe it and then it must be true. The Catholic faith is Christ CENTERED. While we are all comfortable in asking one another for prayers,we as Catholics believe in asking those whom God has shown favor to for their prayers. If God chose Mary to bring the world his son and our savior,then she is good enough for me to ask prayers of. We are all members of the body of Christ and it does not bother me to believe the woman who gave us Jesus from her womb through the action of the holy spirit, would now be in heaven still his mother. One of the reasons I became Catholic was the reverence of the Sacred Liturgy,posture of humility of body and the raising of prayers of praise to our savior. The devil is busy bringing down men of God rather priest or preacher or pastor,much prayer is needed for all people of God. And I see that Davy Crockett is one of your heroes well our family on my mothers side was supposed to be a distant relative. My Aunt did some family research which took years and found evidence of being a distant relative. She actually has legal papers of the research but then trusted it to her brother and his family who lost them. The family has been upset over this because my mother’s brother was the one that lost the papers due to his alcoholic driven life. My husband laughs at me because he didn’t get the chance to see the papers. Mom saw them but was not allowed to touch them by the brother who lost them!
