There are more than just a few sickening comments left by FReepers on this topic. Unfortunately it reflects upon this website and on everyone here.
The behavior here has been absolutely disgusting, and no amount of rationalization can justify the murderer's actions or the victim's death.
My reading of the threads indicates these kinds of postings are the rule rather than the exception.
We sure can be good at fouling our own nest.
