The suspect is being questioned by FBI, ATF, LRPD, and Arkansas State Police as of 1500 hrs 01 JUN 09 and LRPD spokesperson Terry Hastings will identify the suspect and a possible motive later this evening. He gave himself up after a short chase on I-630 ending on the I-30 off ramp.
There were multiple firearms, including assault weapons in the car, along with a shotgun, and assorted ammunition, and several packages thought to be explosives were examined as a precaution and there were no explosives found in the vehicle.
Two U.S. Army recruiters were shot Monday morning in an apparent drive-by shooting at an Army-Navy recruiting station on North Rodney Parham Road in Little Rock, said Little Rock Police. One of the recruiters died just before noon. He is William Long of Little Rock. Queuton Ezeaghula was injured. The two victims were taken to Baptist Medical Center.
