Frankly, the problem is the ‘leadership’, but ONLY the leadership.
The GOP needs a good beheading...where’s Osama when we need him?

Cornyn, Kay Bailey Hutchinson, and the other weenies saying not to push too hard on this radical, racist feminazi are worse than pathetic.

The Republican Senators should be drawing the line in the sand on this one, for once making a clear distinction between themselves and the Evil Party, and getting ready for 2010. Instead, as all too often in the past they can’t pull themselves away from being the Stupid Party.

The GOP will do exactly what the dems want.....vote to confirm in a vain attempt to sway voters, who will never follow them all while patting themselves on the back.

The GOP, is as dynamic as an Armadillo in the middle of a freeway.

Congressional Republicans never met a Presidential nominee they didn’t roll over for.

“I congratulate Judge Sotomayor on her nomination and commend President Obama for nominating the first person of Puerto Rican heritage to the United States Supreme Court. The confirmation process must focus on determining whether Judge Sotomayor is qualified to serve on the Supreme Court. Qualifications for judicial service include not only experience and character but, most importantly, a proper understanding of the power and role of judges in our system of government. Judges must decide cases based on the law, not on their personal views or opinions. Judges swear an oath to decide cases impartially, without regard to the identity of the parties before them. I will focus on determining whether Judge Sotomayor is committed to deciding cases based only on the law as made by the people and their elected representatives, not on personal feelings or politics. I look forward to a fair and thorough process.”

Details?
I wish all the “tea party “groups would all talk to each other and all hit the streets the same day .One GIANT demonstration will be much more effective than a few hundred smaller ones. I say a VERY aggressive march on DC with a million man attendance at minimal.

Yes, it is a pitiful picture.

The once vibrant GOP, a beacon of hope for America and the world, has been undermined by the Bush dynasts and their allies in Congress to the point that they are physically incapable of responding to a fraud, a racist, a closet Muslim and a socialist.

Instead of an effect deterrant to the march of degenerate western European socialism, they have become a money-sucking obstacle to anyone who really wants to mount an effective response to Obama, Soto-Mayor, Reid, Pelosi and the others of their ilk.

Unfortunately, the GOP will not suffer a fatal heart attack and leave a vacancy for a more worthy successor. Instead, it will die slowly - making occasional successes, but in the long run just screwing things up badly for people who expect their political party to support a strong America, a small government, the Constitution, and traditional American values.
