judging by the heated threads here today and some unusual explanations of what pro-life means I'd like a reckoning here if most pro-life folks here are anti-capital punishment and anti-war and whatnot too?

i think given what I've seen here on FR today, I'm anti-abortion...not pro-life by the examples I've seen here of folks claiming to be like big cheeses in the effort to stop abortion..

I am pro-life, meaning in favor of protecting innocent human life including all babies from conception forward, and thus I am against abortion.

I am against the death penalty for a different reason, since it doesn’t involve innocents: I just don’t want the idiotic government to have the power to kill citizens.

And I am against avoidable wars due to the cost of innocent human life, the expense, the undermining of other issues and principles, and the diversion of focus from home to abroad unnecessarily.

One reckoning, sought and granted.
