Ofcourse I care and how we respond is important.
But we should not respond with guilt or shame nor the expectation that it makes us all guilty. It does not. One person’s actions in response to the outrageous crimes committed by Tiller is just that. We should talk about what Tiller did that created such turmoil around himself.
We should say the media smears the innocent of whole groups for the crimes of one all the time. It is hateful and ignornat of our justice system.
You mistake guilt and shame for the recognition of the blow-back there will be for the pro-life cause, if it is indeed one of our own that killed him. media smears, hateful and ignorant? yes. expected? of course.
