All I can surmise is that those folks supporting the murder of Tiller believe that the guy who killed Tiller had the gumption to do what those supporting the act lacked the intestinal fortitude to do themselves, at least if you advocate that "preventing the murder of children on a playground" analogy where we are to use all means necessary to stop the madman who was going to kill the children.
It begs the questions: If it is your duty to stop the murder of innocents by all means necessary, why haven't you done what Tiller's killer did yourself? Are you advocating that we all go out and start "whacking" all the folks who perform abortions? Or is there a litmus test as to the type and number they can get away with before being "whacked"?
Always nice to have someone else do the dirty work for you. < /sarcasm>
I really don’t care if a person performs abortions. I’m not on the side that says abortion is murder of the innocent unborn. Therefore, I certainly would not advocate going out and wacking people who perform abortions.
You want my answers?

Answer: Because I am a wimp and do not have the courage to shoot a man in cold blood. I would, however, consider badly injuring such an unrepentant abortionist so he could not kill again. Like breaking all his fingers on both hands.

I would rather dialogue with them and hope to convert the more reasonable ones. Prolifers did this with Bernie Nathanson, who killed more than 20,000 unborn children, and they converted him!
It is always the duty of every right-minded person to do whatever is neccesary to prevent murder. We have allowed liberal government to dictate the conditions under which we can do this and those conditions are so stringent we shy away from doing our duty. The reason I haven’t done more is simply because I’m still afraid of the consequences. I imagine most people who feel strongly about abortion are in the same boat. Does that make me a coward? Probably. Will I always be a coward? Who knows. The abortionists certainly don’t and therein lies their worry.
