Former President George W. Bush may finally upstage Dick Cheney this week. After months of silence while Cheney has been blasting away at President Obama, Bush is scheduled to make two semi-public appearances.
Tonight he'll speak to to the Economic Club of Southwest Michigan at Lake Michigan College. It's being billed as his first major speech to an American audience. The news media will be allowed to attend the event, but not record it. Right.

No I’m afraid you’re not going to succeed at that, my dear brydic1! I supported Pres. Bush, and I’m not sorry I did! Furthermore, I won’t leave this board unless the owners/moderators throw me off!
I also don’t believe Pres. Bush will do any such thing as condemn Cheney. Mr. Cheney says he talks to Mr. Bush quite often. Someone on this board said a week ago, that they read that the Cheney’s went to have dinner at the Bush’s new house recently. I think you’re full of it!
Furthermore, I think your comment about “Bushbots” leaving and going to DU is an out-and-out insult to me, and some other Freepers! I can’t stand DU, or any website like it! I think it’s a nasty thing to imply that Bush supporters “find their true allegiance”, and that they’ll somehow “permanently leave FR website and go to the DU”!
Is this what you’re trying to do? Drive Bush supporters off the FR site? Too bad, it won’t work! We won’t go unless the owner/moderator puts us off. Your insults may have driven some of them off, but not all. If some of us “Bushbots” do leave, we definitely won’t go to DU, or other such websites!
The Bushes have been ineffective and paved the road to Obama.
