I think they are worried about the backlash from Hispanics. This is a constituency the GOP needs to win back from Obama. Obama is playing this card potentially as a set-up, to turn more Hispanics against the GOP.

Yes...they’re truly collegial....such gentle men and women...
I think a filibuster would be a doomed cause...They should instead savage her record and her decisions and have as much dirt dug up on her as possible and get some of their fat cats to publicize all of it....tit for tat (Estrada, Gonzalez) really would work to infuse some spirit into those of us who are looking for champions, not collegial weenies.
