They are moving to Texas in droves.
Unless they live in a shoebox in Texas, it won't work. Texas' property taxes are among the highest in the nation and increase substantially every year (increases are not limited by voter or legislature approval).
NV and probably Alaska are likely the only two places that have no state income tax plus reasonable property taxes. I don't know about Alaska, but NV's property taxes are limited to 1% and cannot be raised without the legislature involved.

Texas made a HUGE mistake by funding Liberal school districts with property taxes. The STATE of Texas (read Liberal Austin) now owns the land that Texans died for and rents it to rich people who can pay the rent to support the schools that are eroding Texas culture and turning it into the Massachusetts of the South. BIG MISTAKE, Y'ALL!

They are running from high State Income Taxes, of which Texas has none and I don’t think Texas property tax is excessive high compared to where they are moving from. Besides, property taxes in Texas are very low on farms. Does not take much to qualify as a farm.
