If only our President would show some class and intervene. Class? That would only further the embarrassment ... 'O' is a clueless punk.

Next time, let the Nazis keep Paris.

Well said.
I hope the English people make their disgust known to the French, no matter what political persuasion they are. This is an insult to the heros who saved France from the BEF at Dunkirk, to the final shot.
The French are truly ungrateful twits.
Regards,
AR

He’s too busy thinking up new ways to strip the American economy and tax away everything of any value in private hands.

From the piece it seems as though it’s a foreign office issue, they failed to put in the request for the Queen to be invited and thus she wasn’t invited.
However, the French should still invite her regardless, and just issue a wide Persona Non Grata for whoever fubbed this up in the Brittish foreign office.

Indeed.
I think it’s high time to disinter those 23,000 men (Brits and Canadians) who gave their life to free France, and bring them back to a place where they are better remembered and appreciated.
Seriously.

Here, Here.
The French attitude has always disgusted me, from their cowardly acts during war, to their cowardly deceit supporting Khomeini in overthrowing the Shah and capturing the American hostages in Tehran.
I never have, nor never will have any respect for the french, if any Country hath deserved to have succumbed to invaders and ceased to exist because of a lack of spine, it's them.

They said President Nicolas Sarkozy was focused on the 'main event' of hosting U.S. President Barack Obama.I wonder if Obama and especially our version of Evita sent word to Sarkozy to snub her Majesty. Obama and Evita are notorious haters of the Britsh and its history.

Sarko wants to have Obama all to himself that day and doesn't want to be irritated by inconvenient Brits and Canucks. Is he hoping for the NTSC format DVD collection or an iPod?

It’s a disgrace that the Queen wasn’t invited.
Having said that, now they know how the Poles, whose pilots greatly helped the RAF during the Battle of Britain, felt when the Poles were not allowed to march in the London VE Day parades, out of desire not to offend Stalin.

My understanding is it was at David Axlerod’s insistent suggestions, so Obama could would not have to share the limelight.

Sorry but it is not funny. If anyone has earned the right to attend this Ceremony it is Queen Elizabeth. I cannot be live the crass, unfeeling, stupidity shown by the
French. If Obusto had any Kahones he would tell the
french to stuff it until the Brits are included
