local media

Posted on 05/26/2009 10:03:42 AM PDT by CounterCounterCulture

That’s it exactly. The recession isn’t confined to the USA. Economies all over the world are suffering—including Mexico and Central America.

perhaps it is time to start forcing “preventing homosexual behavior” curicula into the school systems.

Time to start taking over the school boards.

"I never thought I'd live in a state where the legislative branch, the executive branch and the judicial branch are all made irrelevant in a context of protecting a minority's rights - that's where we are in California today."
- San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom

Hey penis-breath, it's called We The People.

Look it up.

The seven-member court upheld the initiative as a constitutional expression of the electorate’s will...

is in direct opposition to:

"I never thought I'd live in a state where the legislative branch, the executive branch and the judicial branch are all made irrelevant in a context of protecting a minority's rights - that's where we are in California today."
- San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom

The arrogance of the elitist ruling class is astounding.

I disagree. The text itself leads to that interpretation, so they didn’t overturn it in substance either. Prop 8 really was about a word. Also, had prop 8 contained language limiting other rights, it’s clear that that would have also been upheld as that would not have altered the framework of the state constitution either.

It’s still going to take a lot of work.
We have a lot of work to do to get our
country back, but I agree this helps
some to see that it’s possible.

“Of course they uphold it. Anyone who thought otherwise is crazy. They would never overturn the vote of the people”

I hope you’re being facetious. This is the second time
we Californians have had to vote for marriage because
they overturned our original defining of marriage
that we voted on back in 2000.

Right on! And another small victory was Kris Allen winning “American Idol” over Adam Lambert. As you know, Lambert is the next gay hero of the mainstream liberal biased press.
