We prefer to visit the Big Island and stay in Kona.
Maui is overpriced and Oahou might as well be LA.

We lived in Oahu. My husband was stationed at Pearl Harbor. He loved the surf, but we were so ready to get out of there. The big island is the best of all the islands. I went to Waikiki maybe twice. Oahu is overrated...
