Last time I went to the Archives, Photography was prohibited as to not destroy the documents. All the lights required for live TV are blinding. What is that doing to the documents, hmm destroying them. How ironic.
I am listening to Bill Bennett's book on the history of our country (for the second time):America, The Last Best Hope, and when I think of the courage and grit our founding Fathers had to call on in order to bring the USA into being, I get physically ill, watching this poseur.
Ha ha, speaking about the archives.
Anything about those stolen/missing Clinton era archives.
We see how our history is being protected.
what documents were there during the speech?

I just started reading this thread because I was driving all day today, but I am so glad you said that. I was thinking the same thing. I went to the archives about a year ago and they nearly went nuts over how lights could destroy the documents and they had this long speech about not using cameras, etc. I was wondering how this guy rates getting to use cameras, lights and everything else that could ruin these precious documents.
