GREENVILLE, S.C. -- After being released from jail on bond early Tuesday, John Ludwig, the man charged with murder in connection with a fatal crash in April, was back in jail on Tuesday afternoon.
Ludwig was released just before noon Tuesday after a judge set Ludwig's bond at $300,000 on Monday.
At 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Ludwig appeared in a Greenville County courtroom for another hearing. During the hearing, it was revealed that Ludwig wrote notes in the margin of his release paperwork on Tuesday morning. Officials said that Ludwig wrote "no electronic monitoring" and "no porch arrest" on his paperwork before he signed it and was released.
The judge ordered that Ludwig's bond be revoked and he be sent back to jail, while he awaits another bond hearing.
Ludwig said the notes made on the paperwork were a "misunderstanding."
