When Ford did not take bailout money, I wrote to them to let them know that as long as they did not take any in the future, my next vehicle will be a Ford. No doubt about it.
If anyone buys a GM car I suggest that you talk them down to the best deal they will offer, and then demand they further reduce it to cover the tax money you have already been forced to put down on it.

Retired Military Mom with and old Ranger Pickup. Couldn't afford a new car right now but sent them either a check or cash stapled to the letter to help with their turn around efforts, for not taking the "money".
I am sure they sent it back, but it show the passion against taking the "money".
