Embattled House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has approval ratings nearly as low as Newt Gingrich when he was the primary lightning rod in Congress, a new poll says.
The CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey released this afternoon found that the approval of how Pelosi is doing her job as speaker has dropped from 51 percent in January to 46 percent in March to 39 percent now.

Why don’t we start filing ethics complaints until a truce is declared to stop this disgusting practice? We have gotta stop playing nice with the rats. What they’re doing to Sarah makes me sick. In fact, I donated to her defense fund.
I remember complaints about a book deal Newt had but never got why there was supposedly a problem.
I did the same young stupid kid thing, so I completely sympathize.
I work in Nancy’s little fiefdom. It’s a sewer. And she plans to make the rest of the country just like it. The interesting thing? You hear people in my uber=lib law office talking looooots of smack about Nancy. Heck, they are no longer talking about the Messiah the way they used to.
Sometimes I’ve SEEN six impossible things while browsing the forum, snicker. At least I ‘think’ I did...
