Thanks devolve, THAT image is 661KB!! Just so you know why it wasn’t bigger, lol.

Wish the pictures were a bit sharper but that’s how they were when I got them off of youtube.

The only place her approval rating really counts is her district and I am sure it is greater than 51% given she has San Fransicko in here district.

It would be lower if the media gave her as hard a time as Newt.

Where did they do the poll? Castro Street? No way she has national numbers like that.

Don't count on Hoyer. He has a record of cowtowing to members of the Congressional Black Caucus as well as the Prince Georges County Maryland Democrat party, which is black dominated.

The new speaker will come from a different faction that wants some of the loot. The thinking will be that with the Black Caucus having the Presidency, last thing anyone needs is their trained houseservant Stenny.

I still don’t understand what Newt supposedly did. I thought he was a good Speaker - the Contract with America was a good thing and seems to me after he left the Republicans fell apart and started trying to be rats.

Allegedly, he cheated on and (not-so-allegedly) divorced his wife. It was around the same time she was diagnosed with cancer, and the Looney Left/MSM ran with it.

Something you’d expect a democrat to do, but looks a little more hypocritical when it comes the party of family values.

He’s also the only guest I’ve ever seen put Jon Stewart in his place during an interview.

She won?t quit...absolute power is her oxygen and aphrodisiac.

Absolutely. Our Dear Leader still supports Nan. Me thinks Nan is black mailing Barry with a pesky constitutional matter! Panetta clearly through Nan under the Bus. This doesn't make sense.

So what? She doesn’t need an approval rating to be Speaker of the House. And I doubt very much whether her loyal supporters in San Fran are about to turn against her. They know what she is, and they approve of it.

Approval ratings are like cash in the bank for a politician. A high approval rating gives the politician leverage to get things done.

I’m going to preface by saying this: I was a young, stupid kid who made the mistake that a lot of young people do - voting Democrat. Since Obama has been elected, I’ve been laid-off and desperately trying to find work to no avail. I’ve seen the error of my ways, and I’d like to consider myself a double agent of sorts at this point, because I believe a strong, calculated conservative opposition party is the only thing that will keep this country from hurtling off the metaphorical cliff.

The only democrats who are defending Pelosi at this point are the old Clintonites and “blue dog” democrats. Even when I considered myself to be more left-of-center, I hated that bitch with a passion. Still do. I’d love nothing more than to see her impeached.

But I don’t think it will be the deathblow to the party most people think it will be. In fact, most of the Obamatrons I knew are now also hoping she gets her walking papers.

There was also something about a book deal but not sure what Newt did that was supposedly unethical.

Cheating on a wife with cancer sounds so familar...hmmmm....who could it be? /s.

Oh, I don't think most people think this hurts the dems in general. But getting rid of Pelosi would be personally satisfying.

Welcome, btw.

We can see precisely what happened. Drip, drip, drip of inconsequential stories that sound bad. No one quite seems to remember... These are the Newt stories that stick in my head (not necessarily related to his leaving office).

I think the whole government shut down thing made Newt look weak because we got the blame. The couple in Florida "wiretapping" Newt's conversation with someone. Connie Chung got Newt's mom to say that Newt said Hillary was a bitch.
