I don’t know what to say about this that I didn’t already say when she asked The One a stupid question about Israeli nukes at his February presser, so refresh your memory.
Grandstanding hack then, grandstanding hack now. In fairness to the left, as much as she prides herself on being a liberal, I think denial about Iran’s intentions is a minority position even on their side. The only question here, really, is whether she earnestly doubts that Iranian nuclear weapons would pose a threat or whether she recognizes that they would but is willing to tolerate them anyway in the name of moral equivalence.
Smart money’s on the latter.

Seriously, do you really think an Iranian nuke, if they make one (that’s about all they could make) would really be a threat to the US? They may hate us, but do you really think they’d waste their one nuke on the US, who would immediately obliterate them, when they have enemies they hate much more close at hand?

Because I don’t swallow the rhetoric. The Dems and Obama have no qualms about using military force or killing innocent people. Perhaps you are unaware of what is going on in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
...and, because Obama is a politician and will do anything to stay in power. He might be able to talk like a peacenik while there is no real threat to Americans, but he knows
Americans would never tolerate a lack of response to a real attack. He’d bomb Iran, not because it was right, but because it would be politically expedient.

I think that the democrats will only think Iran is a threat if they remove a major city from the US. Nothing short of that will get their attention.
Iran threats to remove Israel from the map and it’s a big ho-hum. They threaten to bring down the US an again... ho-hum. Granted, Iran will not be able to topple use but they can cause all kinds of havoc around the world and kill who knows how many people.

There are hundreds of regimes causing havoc in the world and killing countless numbers of people. What’s so special about Iran. We’re not worried about all the others.
I happen to think that’s right, and personally do not care how much havoc they cause in the world, as long as direct American interests are not effected. Let them start with China—and Europe.
I feel very sorry for the Israelis, and despise all the political leftists and egotists that convinced so many to move and live there. Israel is doomed no matter what the Iranians do because they are committing demographic suicide. There was no “Israel on the map” before 1948, and there very likely will not be an Israel on the map in 2048, even if Iran is obliterated.
Iran is no threat to America.
