And yet of all of them, Christianity has the true Saviour who bled and died on a cross of shame for a world who rejects Him. Without Jesus there IS no eternal life.
Quite right, my point is, viewed rightly, all of the pre-Christian religions that escaped from base paganism, and even some pagan cults, contain elements that point to Christ.
Christ is indeed the fulfillment of all of the prophecies of the Old Covenant, but He is also the fulfillment of all that was good and true in those religions that men followed without the benefit of God’s self-revelation to the Jews before His coming.
