It is so weird that these Marxists think they can avert their date with Darwin.
This man is a Chowder Head.
Pro choice voters — yes.
Pro choice candidates — no.
Do you think we need to run the country by poll???
In short the majority in the poll is correct???
Better think long and hard before you buy into that one.
McCain was scarcely an “ideologue” and look what happened. America doesn’t like lukewarm candidates.
Like Michael Steele, I’m the chairman of a national political party, the third-largest party in America now by voter registration.
Unlike his party, ours is 100% grassroots run.
Unlike his party, all of those affiliated with our party, in other words those who decide the platform, our leadership, and our candidates, are 100% pro-life.
Unlike his party, 100% of our party leaders are 100% pro-life.
And unlike his party, we don’t nominate or endorse ANY candidate for any office who is not 100% pro-life from biological conception until natural death.

By the way, we don’t care what your current voter registration is. It’s a meaningless label. All we care about is your adherence to America’s founding principles.
Fantastic post! Exceptional writing!
yeah because that’s worked so well for us, hasn’t it?
I can Machiavelli good argument that it’s a good place for an intelligent pitch by the GOP.
How can someone enable MODERATE MURDER?
Steele is so wrong.
Our beloved Constitution, besides having some obvious bugs worked out such as black chattel slavery, has bequeathed us a two party oligarchy through the means it prescribes for electing presidents.

RNC Chair Vote: Steele Within Striking Distance
Posted by Mike DeBonis on Jan. 30, 2009, at 12:22 pm
Republican honchos from across the country are gathered today at the Capital Hilton to pick the next chair of the Republican National Committee. Now usually LL would have no interest in this, except that D.C. native and former Maryland lieutenant governor Michael Steele has mounted a strong bid for the seat.
All three voting members from D.C. are backing Steele, according to D.C. GOP executive director Paul Craney.
As expected, theres no winner here on the first ballot, who totals were announced just after noon. Heres the initial vote totals (the magic number is 85):
Incumbent chair Mike Duncan: 52
Steele: 46
South Carolina Republican chairman Katon Dawson: 28
Michigan Republican chairman Saul Anuzis: 22
Former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell: 20
UPDATE, 1:05 P.M.: Steele pulls even with Duncan, still not final:
Duncan: 48
Steele: 48
Anuzis: 29
Dawson: 24
Blackwell: 19
UPDATE, 1:50 P.M.: Steele now in the lead, but Dawson is gaining
Steele: 51
Duncan: 44
Dawson: 34
Anuzis: 24
Blackwell: 15
UPDATE, 2:15 P.M.: Duncan drops out! Round 4 to come!
UPDATE, 2:50 P.M.: Uh-ohDuncan conservatives flocking to Dawson. However, CW is that Steele and Anuzis appeal to moderates; Dawson and Blackwell appeal to conservatives. By that logic, theres more votes leaning toward the moderates now than the conservatives, which would be an analysis beneficial to Steele.
Dawson: 62
Steele: 60
Anuzis: 31
Blackwell: 15
UPDATE, 3:15 P.M.: Blackwell out! Endorses Steele!
UPDATE, 3:30 P.M.: The suspense! Round 5:
Steele: 79 (need 85 to win)
Dawson: 69
Saul: 20
UPDATE, 4:10 P.M.: STEELE WINS

No we do not welcome them. Whitman is/was not a good republican. She’s part of the problem she’s a RINO.
We do not need more RINOs. Steele, you’re an idiot. Won’t get one damn dime from me ever. What a shill.
I think you might be on the wrong website pal.Go try du will ya.
That’s a myth perpetrated by the duopoly in power. If the Republicans insist on being Liberal Party II I say let’s see how they do in a two-way race against Liberal Party I and a truly conservative party. I’ll take those odds.
Rudy is not an “abortion advocate” at least in recent years. Giuliani has stressed that he is for adoption over abortion. Although he is in favor of restrictions (parental notification being one). He is Pro-Choice but not Democrat/NARAL Pro-Choice and that is a key difference.
I do believe that at a minimum that a person can not be an abortion advocate. They must believe it is wrong on a personal level and must not push policy that will further expand the number of abortions or do things like force doctors to perform them or abridge parental rights.
I support Rudy for Gov of NY. If there were a real conservative alternative then I’d support them. As for the GOP going no where without abortion advocates that is stupid and not backed up by any factual data. If anything the opposite is true. We don’t need the fringe radical Pro-Choice vote nor the Homosexual activist vote.
Rudy is welcome but Steele and others need to make it clear that we aren’t going to compromise on somethings and his talk about forging a pro-life coalition in the Democrat party is just stupid. Where is the old Steele that didn’t talk like a scripted puppet?
I just copied this article, and added a love note to the RNC to it. Basically, no RNC donations until they embrace conservatism. That will be on the 12th, of “Never”.
