Yeah, as a political speech. As a political speech it did it's job, blurring and distorting issues. That "parochial" bit was WAY out of line. Everyone knows "parochial" is the favorite buzzword of anti-Catholic bigots to marginalize Catholicism.

"Father" Jenkins speech was worse. An hysterical speech praising Obama. He outed himself as an hysterical Obama supporter and shameless liberal. Having seen and heard a LOT of hysterical fruitcake clergy deliver shrill shouting sermons of nonsense over the years, this one was in a definite man crush/Gaydar Alert category. "High" to "Severe" range. He was oozing Obamamania.

As I saw it Steele just threw the obligatory opening nicety compliment but pretty much stayed on conservative/pro-life message and held BOZerO accountable for his pro-death voting record.
