Damn! If I had read through 45 comments before posting, I wouldn’t have had to post #144!

And now I see that you’ve already seen that, too.

I need to find these threads earlier.

No big deal. Actually I found it interesting that the both of us had stumbled on to that book. I had not remembered it or even thought about it until I got into FR and someone started the ZOTS thing. LOL Aloha from Maui
ps. There is an “Applegate” in S. Oregon. Is that where your screen name comes from. Beautiful place, I've been there more than once.

From the Real Conservative Republican

Univ wrong to place prestige above principle “Palin weighs in”

Boston Herald ^ | 05-17-09 | Holly Robichaud

Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska, a strong pro-life advocate, weighed in on the issue with me by e-mail:

“My favorite grandpa, Clem James Sheeran, was Catholic. Irish to the core, his favorite place (other than church) was Notre Dame.

I can’t imagine what he would think as the university recognizes someone who contradicts the core values of the Catholic faith by promoting an anti-life agenda.

As we learned today, our nation is more pro-life than ever before; it is a very important time to strengthen the message that every baby is created for good purpose and has the potential to make this world a better place.”
