PALM BEACH GARDENS — After Heath Miller discovered he was a target of a police investigation, he tried to cover his tracks, records show.

The popular H.L. Watkins Middle School band director asked a mistress and a relative to help him hide or destroy potential evidence of his alleged sexual abuse of students, according to documents released Thursday by the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office.

Prosecutors revealed that a cellphone memory card that Miller kept at the Palm Beach Gardens school contained photos of Miller having sex with girls.

Miller had asked a teacher at the school, a woman he was having an affair with, to take the memory card from the school's band room so police would not find it

He is accused of having sex in the school band room with two eighth-grade students, include one girl who says he pulled her out of class and raped her, and fondling two others. Police said he also was having sex at school with two teachers, including one who said that Miller raped her.

Your totally right. Punishment for crimes should be color blind and swift. Adding the racial card to the mix is insulting for all.

I'm a white HS teacher in a predominately black school. I can't speak for the approved minorities they were referencing but anyone who was caught in the act of rape at my school wouldn't make it to prison, no matter their color.

Let’s see what Miller’s sentence will be. A 25 yr old Fresno, CA, guy raped 4 prostitutes and he was found guilty his week. Saying he will get 100 yrs - 25 for each prostitute.

I just got the old movie “Pretty Maids All in a Row”. Haven’t gotten to watch it yet but it’s about Rock Hudson as the high school coach doing all the cheerleaders and Angie Dickenson making men of the high school boys.
