The 15s probably have better standoff engagement capability... But I think the 29s are more maneuverable than the 15s. The 16s should be better suited to mixing it up in a furball - which is likely to result when you can't use hit and run tactics. As in when you're tied to a slower moving strike package...
Go IAF, ignore obambi, he is a literal babe in the woods when it comes to, well, everything. He has no practical experience or knowledge.
The biggest impediment toward an Israeli AF strike on Iranian nuke facilities are double digit SAMs (i.e. 9K330 Tor-M1, aka SA-15 Gauntlet) and AAA (i.e. Pantsir-S1, aka SA-22 Greyhound), especially the feared S-300PMU-2, aka SA-20B Gargoyle.
They have to be taken into account, otherwise the F-15Is (from 69 SQN) and F-16Is (from 107 and 119 SQNs) would be slaughtered.
I know they are something to be reckoned with, even the Iranian MiG-29 Fulcrums, which I bet the Israeli fighter pilots know how to go up against (right?), but to make things a helluva lot easier, why not equip the Israelis with F-22I Raptors (customized with Israeli avionics, equipping 106 and 133 SQNs), that will enable them to evade and suppress the double digit SAMs and eliminate Iranian F-14s and MiGs while the Ra’am and Sufa workhorses bring in the bombs.
It’s that simple.
