It appears to call into question the longstanding assertion of Speaker Nancy Pelosi that she was never told that waterboarding and other methods were actually used, only that the Central Intelligence Agency believed they were legal and could be used.
The chart said that at the first briefing, on Sept. 4, 2002, Ms. Pelosi, then the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, and Representative Porter J. Goss, the committee’s Republican chairman, were given a “description” of the interrogation methods that “had been employed” against a prisoner, Abu Zubaydah.

It’s one of three things:
1) Jane Harmon is getting revenge for what Pelosi recently did to her regarding Israel.
2) Steny Hoyer is getting revenge for Pelosi taking the majority leader spot from him.
3) Obama is doing this because if he does nothing, this will show weakness on his part and the blue dogs will bolt. The means nothing gets done, the Republicans win in 2010 and Obama will have a primary challenge in 2012. From who you ask?

One of our younger relatives has a friend, who knows some of Boxer’s handlers. They apparently live in mortal fear everytime she opens her mouth.
LOL....sounds like torture to me.
"It didn't happen" won't work because Pelosi was among those Democrats who proclaimed the most loudly that it did. She is now at "I wasn't there" and "I didn't know," and the next step is "I was only following orders"--hard to contend when you're Speaker of the House.
