Same with caffeine. I put caffeine in a soda, it’s not a drug. When I put it in a pill and tell people that they can take it to stay awake, then it’s a drug. <<

So if a drug company puts satins in a muffin and only sells it as a tasty muffin treat, then no body would need a prescription.

Then it becomes a food additive, which is also subject to FDA regulation (caffeine is both a food additive and a drug, and as a food additive, it is GRAS-generally regarded as safe). So short answer—no.
