If they keep digging they may eventually find a dinosaur with a pet collar and the tag with the owner’s name. Now that will really prove things. I’m still baffled by the clam shells found in the Alps. I wonder if Noah might have thrown them over board because they weren’t Kosher?

Don’t worry – the hard working Creation Scientists like Brian Thomas are on the job.

Plate tectonics. The Indian subcontinent has been subducting under the Asian continent for millions of years. This is the process that formed the Himalayan Mountains.

Likewise the Alps arose as a result of the collision of the African and European tectonic plates.

Shells on mountains are easily explained by uplift of the land. Although this process is slow, it is observed happening today, and it accounts not only for the seashells on mountains but also for the other geological and paleontological features of those mountains. The sea once did cover the areas where the fossils are found, but they were not mountains at the time; they were shallow seas.

LOL! That all depends on which creationist you ask. Some say that all animals including Adam and Eve were strict vegans before the Fall. Some also claim that man were vegetarians after the Fall until God told Moses it was OK to eat meat from animals but only the “clean” ones, hence the prohibition on pork and shell fish and certain birds….and I think that includes spotted owls, so ardent creationists have a lot in common with folks from PETA when you think about it.

Personally I like clams, especially in a red sauce over some linguini. But I really like raw oysters. Slurp! Yum!
