And how does the church know that Mary and the departed saints are saved and in heaven? Either you are wrong or MarkBsnr is wrong since he states that knowing we will meet someone in heaven is not Biblical, not found in Scripture, nor was it believed by early Christians. You cannot know your salvation; and you sure cannot know anyone else's.

Lol. It's always fun to see them contradicting each other. Basically they don't know what they believe, and they sure don't know Scripture.

The Church does not contradict. And, we have shown rather extensively that Calvinist knowledge of the Gospels is spotty at best, and does not rely on them for their doctrines. Do you remember my analysis of the WCF and its near total lack of Gospel proofs?
