Donald Trump, shameless self-promoter that he is, knows the cost to the dollar of bad publicity.
So Perez Hilton is out, Carrie Prejean stays, and Donald Trump does good work for reasons his own.
I’m also listening to this press conference. I did not hear Trump say that Hilton is out. When asked, Trump said that they would have him back as a judge.
Trump has made a hundred or so personnel decisions on the show and for my money he gets most of them right and for the right reasons.
Sure he has an ego, the show is self-serving etc., but who else exposes their decision making to public criticism like he does?
hH got the previous beauty contestant issue right and he did very well on this one. More power to him.
