Egyptian Mufti Invites Obama to Address Muslims from Al-Azhar Mosque

Egyptian Mufti Dr. 'Ali Gum'a and other Al-Azhar scholars have condoned Obama's decision to visit Cairo next month and to address the Arab and Muslim world from that city, and have invited him to give his address from the Al-Azhar mosque. Dr. Gum'a stated that this would promote a culture of dialogue between Islam and the West.

Good point. Something tells me the Muslims won't be as accommodating to the concealment of their religious symbols as Georgetown. Nor will they be asked to be.

I think he’s potentially something of an Islamic socialist along the lines of Gadaffi. Gadaffi after all has a relationship with Rev. Wright, Obama’s spiritual mentor. Too many connections there.
