A jury late last year ordered the Los Angeles Unified School District to pay nearly $1.6 million to the families of three girls molested by Ricardo Guevara, who is now serving 15 years in prison for lewd acts with a child.

It doesn't sound as though that 1.6 million is PER family. Half a million bucks each (paid for by the insurance company, minus one third for the lawyer, and it's probably listed as emotional damages, which are taxed by the state) for a school district deliberately and wantonly endangering children by placing a predator in their midst?

This jury needs to be taken out and shot...
