Except in those instances where the people don't give a hoot who gains elected office. That is, they don't care who gets elected at the lowest level of the party.

Your point then, is my point. But, it is up to us at the local level to make sure we have principled and competent people at these lowest-level offices.

Thankfully, many freepers ARE moving that way... but, more need to know that they can effectively fight the principled battle near where they live.

No - it's not about the party. That is just the vehicle. It is about who rides in the vehicle.

Your problem isn’t who is riding in the vehicle. It’s who has their hands firmly in control of the wheel. And it ain’t principled conservatives, I can tell you that.

Hey, here's an idea!

Let's build a party where everyone involved is a principled conservative, one in which the people themselves control all the levers of power, and in which the "media" and money don't determine the outcome.
